ABOUT LITTLE LODGE ACADEMY

Licensed and Insured. License #: C06PA0280
History & Philosophy

Little Lodge Academy was founded in August 2015 and operates under an agreement with the Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties.

The voluntary preschool program was developed after numerous requests from LLA families in an effort to keep siblings together. The program is strategically designed to prepare students for the collaborative and cooperative elementary learning environment. The teachers have received specialized training from Kagan Professional Development in delivering high impact structures, Kagan for Little Ones, throughout the day. This includes developing preschoolers' social skills and interactions through classbuilding and teambuilding to create a nurturing atmosphere. Additionally, it provides learning opportunities in the form of structures, or a predictable sequence of steps, to practice academic skills and content.

New families are excited to enroll in our VPK program as most students are accepted into our kindergarten program as space allows. VPK applicants are encouraged to apply via the "Apply Now" page. Should you have any questions about our program, you are welcome to reach out to the Learning Lodge office staff.

In August 2018, Little Lodge Academy expanded it's preschool to include 2 and 3-year olds as well as 4 years who are not eligible for VPK. We are excited that so many of our elementary school-aged students will have their much younger siblings join us on campus every day!
